Wine tour and tasting experience can be arranged
You leave at 10.15am sharp on a tour of local award winning Touraine vignerons. After a tasting visit to two award winning vignerons including a tour of the production facilities at one of the locations plus a visit up to the fields to view the vines you then travel to a small restaurant for a relaxing four course lunch including wine. (Many of the local vignerons and workers use this restaurant).

After a relaxing lunch you continue with a further visit to an award winning producer before returning to Les Deux Platanes at around 3.30pm/4.00pm. From the vignerons visited you can taste and/or buy wines (white, rosé or red wine / still and sparkling of your choice by the bottle or container. Throughout the day Maureen will help you make the most of your time and provide all manner of additional information and explanation plus a personal introduction to the vignerons. You can taste up to 5 different red wines plus rose and white wine, sweet wine and more at each cave.

Note: Visits normally take place on a Thursday, we need a minimum of 24 hours' notice as we telephone the vignerons to arrange these private visits.
